I am a mother of 2 one 2 year old one is 4 months.
My house is in foreclosure, sale date is set for May 8th,2008. Fell behind on a $1,700 mortgage back in August 2007. Husband and I had a prominent mortgage business that went under due to the economy. We were in deep trouble December 2006 when the last income for the business was $206. I lost my car due to being behind so many times and everything is either in collection or with an attorneys office waiting for a law suit to happen.
Mortgate is about $22,000 behind. Trying to work something out with the mortgage company Option One but they wanted about $7,000 then monthly payments would be $2700 for 18 months until caught up. Yea, uh how am I going to swing that?
Please, homeless is bad, but homeless with two small kids is not cool. I cannot really get back to work because child care out here is $150.00 per kid for 1 week. A JOB alone will not even cover that expense. I had my mother pass from cancer February 2008, and prior to that, I had a high risk pregnancy that kept me from pretty much everything.
Please, someone out there help us. I don't want to loose the house. We pretty much lost everything else we had worked so hard for.
It has become quite difficult to afford diapers, clothing, and much of anything now. Any assistance will be greatfully appreciated.
